About MEPHENTERMINE INJECTION
MEPHENTERMINE INJECTION used to treat hypotension (low blood pressure). It is also indicated to treat hypotensive states, such as circulatory failure during spinal anaesthesia or drug-induced hypotension. Hypotension is when blood pressure drops below the normal range, which may reduce cardiac output and hypovolemia (low blood volume). It can cause dizziness, weakness, fainting, and an increased risk of falls.
MEPHENTERMINE INJECTION contains ‘Mephentermine,’ which is a class of medicine called sympathomimetics. It helps to release a chemical messenger (adrenaline), constricts the blood vessels. It increases blood pressure rapidly by increasing the heart's pumping capacity and narrowing the blood vessels.
MEPHENTERMINE INJECTION will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer MEPHENTERMINE INJECTION. Some people may experience systemic hypertension (high blood pressure), anxiety, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), and CNS stimulation. Most of these side effects of MEPHENTERMINE INJECTION do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Taking linezolid and Mephentermine Injection 10ml together may cause high blood pressure.

Taking Phenelzine with Mephentermine Injection 10ml together may increase the hypertensive activities of Mephentermine Injection 10ml.

Taking Mephentermine Injection 10ml with Phenelzine together is not recommended as it can possibly result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. If you notice any of these signs - headache, trouble seeing clearly, feeling confused or having seizures, chest pain, feeling sick, sudden numbness or weakness, difficulty speaking, having a fever, sweating a lot, feeling dizzy or passing out - contact a doctor right away. Do not discontinue any medications without consulting a doctor.
Taking Procarbazine with Mephentermine Injection 10ml together may increase the hypertensive activities of Mephentermine Injection 10ml.

Taking Mephentermine Injection 10ml with Procarbazine is not recommended as it can possibly result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, consult your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as severe headache, blurred vision, confusion, seizures, chest pain, nausea or vomiting, sudden numbness or weakness (especially on one side of the body), speech difficulties, fever, sweating, lightheadedness, and/or fainting. Co-administration of Iobenguane (131i) and Mephentermine Injection 10ml together can decrease the effectiveness of Mephentermine Injection 10ml.
