About Neosol Forte Tablet

Neosol Forte Tablet is used along with ultraviolet light for the treatment of vitiligo. It is also used to treat psoriasis (a skin condition). Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the skin loses colour (melanocytes) and results in discoloured patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, and mucous membranes.

Neosol Forte Tablet contains trioxsalen, which works by activating certain skin cells (melanocytes) and helps to repigment the discoloured and white patches.

Neosol Forte Tablet may cause common side effects such as erythema (skin redness), blisters, oedema (swelling), and itching. These side effects resolve on their own. However, if it persists, stop using Neosol Forte Tablet and consult your physician.

Neosol Forte Tablet should not be taken if you are allergic to it. Inform to your physician if you are pregnant/breastfeeding. Neosol Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients who have allergies to sunlight, porphyria, heart/ liver disease, stomach problems, cataracts, skin cancers and lupus erythematosus.

Vitiligo Treatment: Neosol Forte Tablet is used in vitiligo treatment in conjunction with ultraviolet A (UVA) light therapy (PUVA) to promote re-pigmentation of affected skin areas, helping to restore skin colour and improve appearance.
Management of psoriasis: Neosol Forte Tablet slows down the excessive growth of skin cells.
