About Nitan-AM Tablet
Nitan-AM Tablet belongs to the class of anti-hypertensive drugs, primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Hypertension is a medical condition in which blood pressure is elevated persistently in the blood vessels.
Nitan-AM Tablet contains Telmisartan and Amlodipine, which work by preventing the tightening of blood vessels. This helps relax the blood vessels and improves blood flow. Thereby, Nitan-AM Tablet helps treat high blood pressure.
In some cases, Nitan-AM Tablet may cause side effects such as peripheral oedema (swelling in legs and arms), diarrhoea, dizziness, nausea, and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
