Norinfe 400 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, prostatitis (prostate inflammation), and gonorrhoea (a sexually transmitted disease). Additionally, Norinfe 400 mg Tablet 10's is used to treat infections of the stomach and intestine, such as traveler’s diarrhoea.
Norinfe 400 mg Tablet 10's contains norfloxacin, which works by inhibiting the bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase, thereby preventing bacterial DNA replication and leading to the death of the bacteria.
Take Norinfe 400 mg Tablet 10's as prescribed. In some cases, Norinfe 400 mg Tablet 10's may cause common side effects such as abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhoea, heartburn, headache, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.
