Olmax-40 H Tablet belongs to a group of medications called 'anti-hypertensives' primarily used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). High blood pressure is a chronic condition in which the force of the blood against the artery wall is high.

Olmax-40 H Tablet contains Olmesartan medoximil and Hydrochlorothiazide. Olmesartan medoximil works by relaxing and widening the narrowed blood vessels. Hydrochlorothiazide works by removing extra water/fluid and certain electrolyte overload from the body.
