Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults. The prostate is a small, muscular gland in the male reproductive system. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common condition that occurs when the cells of the prostate gland begin to multiply.
Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride. This medicine works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors, causing smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate. Dutasteride blocks the action of a 5-alpha reductase enzyme, resulting in a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.
In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, headache, nasal congestion (stuffy nose), and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
