Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults. The prostate is a small, muscular gland in the male reproductive system. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common condition that occurs when the cells of the prostate gland begin to multiply.

Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride. This medicine works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors, causing smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate. Dutasteride blocks the action of a 5-alpha reductase enzyme, resulting in a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, headache, nasal congestion (stuffy nose), and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Take Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule as advised. Your physician will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. You can take Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule with or without food. • Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule helps reduce prostate size by blocking the production of hormones responsible for its growth and also improves urinary flow and reduces symptoms like difficulty urinating, frequent urges, and weak urine stream.
• Relaxation of Bladder and Prostate Muscles: Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate, making urination easier and helping relieve urinary discomfort associated with an enlarged prostate.
• Prevention of Urinary Blockage: Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule reduces the risk of complete urinary obstruction, which can occur if BPH is left untreated and helps maintain normal urinary function over time.

• Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open it.

• If you take Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So, avoid intake of Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule with antihypertensive drugs.
• Inform your doctor if you have/had a heart attack or stroke or heart failure, low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, have certain eye diseases, loss of vision due to loss of blood flow to the optic (eye) nerve before taking Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule .
• You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule as it may cause dizziness.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.
• Older patients may be more sensitive to the side effects of Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule , especially dizziness and low blood pressure when getting up from a sitting or lying position. 
• Silomax-D 4 Combipack Capsule is intended for male patients only. Therefore, it should not be administered to women and children under 18 years of age.
