Without this enzyme, the virus cannot insert its genetic material into your healthy immune cells, stopping it from replicating. The second and third components, lamivudine and tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, belong to a class of medicines called reverse transcriptase inhibitors. These two ingredients mimic the natural building blocks that the virus uses to copy itself. Viropil Tablet is used to treat HIV infection.
Viropil Tablet contains Dolutegravir, Lamivudine, and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate. Dolutegravir increases the immune cells that help fight infections in the body and decreases the amount of HIV in the blood. Lamivudine and Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate work by interfering with the working of nucleotide and nucleoside reverse transcriptase enzymes which are necessary for the reproduction of the virus.
