About VOMILAST TABLET

VOMILAST TABLET belongs to the class of anti-emetics class primarily used to treat nausea (feeling sick) and vomiting (being sick) during pregnancy. Morning sickness (nausea and vomiting during pregnancy) is a common symptom of pregnancy. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit. At the same time, vomiting is the natural response of the body to discharge the contents of the stomach forcefully.

VOMILAST TABLET is a combination of three drugs, namely: Doxylamine (antihistamine), Pyridoxine (vitamin B6) and Folic acid (vitamin). Doxylamine works by blocking histamine (a chemical substance), thereby preventing nausea and vomiting. Pyridoxine works by increasing the level of vitamin B6 in the body, thereby treating nausea and vomiting during pregnancy. Folic acid helps in providing essential nutrients to the body.
