ACIGENE TABLET is used to relieve symptoms caused by excess stomach acid, bloating, and gas. The detailed uses are as follows:

• Heartburn and Indigestion: ACIGENE TABLET helps by quickly neutralising excess stomach acid, reducing the burning sensation in your chest and throat.
• Bloating and Gas: ACIGENE TABLET helps by breaking down trapped gas bubbles in the stomach and intestines, making them easier to pass and reducing fullness.
• Stomach Ulcer Symptoms: ACIGENE TABLET helps neutralise stomach acid and soothe irritation, providing symptomatic relief from discomfort associated with stomach ulcers. However, it is not a cure for stomach ulcers and does not replace treatments such as medicines used to eradicate Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) infection or acid-suppressing medicines suggested by your doctor. 

Taking ACIGENE TABLET helps relieve excess stomach acid, bloating, and gas, providing several benefits, including:

• Rapid Relief from Acidity: It quickly neutralises excess stomach acid, helping relieve heartburn, acid indigestion, sour stomach, and the burning sensation associated with acid reflux.
• Reduces Bloating and Gas: The simethicone component helps break down trapped gas bubbles, making them easier to pass and relieving bloating, abdominal pressure, fullness, and discomfort.
• Soothes and Protects the Stomach Lining: The antacid ingredients help coat and soothe the irritated stomach lining while reducing the effects of excess stomach acid, providing relief from discomfort associated with gastritis and stomach ulcers.

• Take ACIGENE TABLET after meals, or as advised by the physician.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Chew or suck the medicine.
• Do not swallow it as a whole.

• Eat smaller meals: Eat smaller, more frequent meals instead of three large ones to prevent your stomach from becoming overly full and producing too much acid.
• Avoid trigger foods and drinks: Avoid known trigger foods and drinks, including highly spicy dishes, fatty foods, citrus fruits, chocolate, caffeine, and carbonated beverages, as they can worsen your symptoms.
• Avoid lying down after meals: Do not lie down immediately after eating. Try to wait at least two to three hours before resting or going to bed to help reduce acid reflux.
• Elevate your head while sleeping: Elevate the head of your bed by six to nine inches using bed risers or a wedge pillow if you regularly experience heartburn at night.

• Shake well before use: Always shake the bottle vigorously before every dose to ensure you receive the correct balance of active ingredients.
• Check the expiry date: Check the expiry date printed on the label before use. Do not take the medicine if the expiry date has passed.
• Avoid prolonged use: Do not use this medicine continuously for more than two weeks unless your doctor has specifically instructed you to do so.
• Separate other medicines: If you are taking other medicines, take them at least two hours before or four hours after taking ACIGENE TABLET to help prevent absorption problems.
• Monitor your symptoms: Stop taking the medicine and consult your healthcare provider if your symptoms do not improve within 7 days of consistent use or if they worsen at any time.
• Seek urgent medical care: If you experience severe chest pain or pain spreading to your arm, shoulder, jaw, or back, especially if accompanied by sweating, shortness of breath, or nausea, seek emergency medical attention immediately, as these symptoms may not be caused by acidity.
