The topical antiseptic liquid sanitizes your home and helps maintain your personal hygiene. The Dettol first aid antiseptic liquid can be used to protect against infection from cuts and scratches, disinfect toys, and sanitize baby wear leaving everything clean and fresh. It can also be used as a household disinfectant and cleaner on surfaces or in laundry cleaning to kill germs. This liquid antiseptic is recommended by Indian Medical Association and can be kept in your emergency first aid kit.

Directions for Use

Recommended dilutions to protect your family from germs:

  • Bathing - 1 teaspoon in a bucket of water.
  • First Aid - 1 tablespoon in 250 ml of water (1:20) for cleaning minor wounds.
  • Shaving - 2 teaspoons in a mug of water (1:20).
  • Nappy Wash - 1 tablespoon in 500ml of water (1:40)

Safety Information

  • For External Use Only.
  • Store in a dry place at a temperature of not exceeding 30°C, protected from light.
  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.
  • If swallowed, wash out mouth and drink plenty of water or milk. If contact is made with eyes, wash them thoroughly with cold water. In both cases, consult your doctor.
  • Not for use around eyes, ears, nose, and mouth.
  • Not for use for children below one year of age.
  • Never use undiluted, may cause irritation.
  • If applied as a spray, spray away from body, avoid contact with eyes, do not inhale the spray.
  • Not for personal use if pregnant. Don't use on skin of breast when breastfeeding without doctor supervision.
  • Don't use if allergic to Chloroxylenol / any ingredient, & if you have eczema.
