About Dsorolin Forte Tablet
Dsorolin Forte Tablet is used along with ultraviolet light for the treatment of vitiligo. It is also used to treat psoriasis (a skin condition). Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the skin loses colour (melanocytes) and results in discoloured patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, and mucous membranes.
Dsorolin Forte Tablet contains trioxsalen, which works by activating certain skin cells (melanocytes) and helps to repigment the discoloured and white patches.
Dsorolin Forte Tablet may cause common side effects such as erythema (skin redness), blisters, oedema (swelling), and itching. These side effects resolve on their own. However, if it persists, stop using Dsorolin Forte Tablet and consult your physician.
Dsorolin Forte Tablet should not be taken if you are allergic to it. Inform to your physician if you are pregnant/breastfeeding. Dsorolin Forte Tablet should be used with caution in patients who have allergies to sunlight, porphyria, heart/ liver disease, stomach problems, cataracts, skin cancers and lupus erythematosus.
