Ferronemia Tablet is used to treat iron deficiency and iron deficiency anaemia in pregnant women. Iron deficiency anaemia is a condition in which the body does not have enough healthy red blood cells due to insufficient iron.
Ferronemia Tablet contains Disodium guanosine-5-monophosphate and Lactoferrin. Ferronemia Tablet works by reducing the levels of hepcidin (iron-regulating hormone). Thereby, it increases iron absorption and thus refills iron stores.
In some cases, you may experience nausea, loss of appetite, constipation and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Ferronemia Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
If you are allergic to Ferronemia Tablet or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Ferronemia Tablet is not recommended for children unless advised by a doctor. If you are breastfeeding, please consult a doctor before using Ferronemia Tablet . Include foods rich in iron, as they help to prevent iron deficiency by providing enough iron to the body.
