Looz Enema is used in the treatment of Constipation and Hepatic encephalopathy. The detailed uses of Looz Enema are as follows:

• Treat Constipation: Looz Enema is used to soften stool and promote bowel movements, providing relief from constipation symptoms.
• Manage Hepatic Encephalopathy: Looz Enema reduces ammonia levels in the blood by promoting its excretion through the gut, helping to prevent or treat episodes of hepatic encephalopathy.

• Looz Enema contains Lactulose, a laxative which treats constipation by drawing water into the bowel.
• It softens the stool and promotes easier and more regular bowel movements.
• Looz Enema helps manage hepatic encephalopathy (a complication of liver disease) by lowering elevated ammonia levels in the blood. It does this by drawing ammonia into the colon and promoting its elimination through the stool.
• By helping remove toxins like ammonia from the bloodstream, Looz Enema supports brain function and reduces symptoms such as confusion, tremors, and mood changes in patients with liver dysfunction.

• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safe and effective use.
• Shake the bottle well and remove the protective shield from the tip.
• Lie down on your left side and raise your right knee to your chest, or kneel and lean forward so that the head and chest are resting comfortably. Insert the enema bottle into the rectum with the tip pointing towards the navel. Squeeze the bottle gently until it is empty. Remove the bottle from the rectum and wash your hands thoroughly.

• Do not take Looz Enema if you are allergic to any of its contents; if you have galactosemia (galactose indigestion disorder), galactose or fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption, Lapp lactase deficiency, intestinal blockage, or digestive perforation.
• Inform your doctor if you are unable to digest lactose/lactose intolerant, have diabetes, have irritable bowel syndrome, or if you are due to undergo a colonoscopy.
