About Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet

Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet is used along with ultraviolet light for the treatment of vitiligo. It is also used to treat psoriasis (a skin condition). Vitiligo is a skin condition in which the skin loses colour (melanocytes) and results in discoloured patches in different areas of the body, including the skin, hair, and mucous membranes.

Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet contains trioxsalen, which works by activating certain skin cells (melanocytes) and helps to repigment the discoloured and white patches.

Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet may cause common side effects such as erythema (skin redness), blisters, oedema (swelling), and itching. These side effects resolve on their own. However, if it persists, stop using Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet and consult your physician.

Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet should not be taken if you are allergic to it. Inform to your physician if you are pregnant/breastfeeding. Management of psoriasis: Neosoralen Forte 25 mg Tablet slows down the excessive growth of skin cells.
