About Ternac 1% Cream
Ternac 1% Cream is used to treat fungal infections of the skin, such as ringworm, jock itch, and athlete’s foot. Fungal infection is a skin disease in which a fungus attacks the tissue and causes infection. Fungal infections may be contagious (spread from one person to another).
Ternac 1% Cream contains Terbinafine hydrochloride, which works by damaging the fungal cell membranes. These membranes are essential for their survival as they prevent the entry of unwanted substances into the cells and stop the leakage of cell contents.
Some people may experience side effects like itching, irritation, or skin peeling. Most of these side effects of Ternac 1% Cream do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

- Fungal skin infections: Ternac 1% Cream treats tinea versicolor (pityriasis versicolor), athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), and jock itch (tinea cruris) caused by fungi such as Trichophyton rubrum, Trichophyton mentagrophytes, Epidermophyton floccosum, and Malassezia furfur, helping to eliminate the infection and prevent its spread.
- Symptom relief: Ternac 1% Cream relieves symptoms of cracking, burning, scaling, and itching of the skin caused by fungal infections, promoting comfort and healing.

- Apply Ternac 1% Cream twice daily; however, follow your doctor's advice regarding the dosage and duration.
- Clean and dry the affected area before applying Ternac 1% Cream. Apply to the affected area as a thin layer and rub gently.
