• Treatment of Urinary Tract Infections: Monurol Granules 8 gm is used to treat uncomplicated urinary tract infections (UTIs) caused by susceptible bacteria.
• Treatment of Cystitis: Monurol Granules 8 gm is utilized in managing cystitis, which is the inflammation of the bladder, often linked with bacterial infections.
• Prevention of Urinary Tract Infections: In some cases, Monurol Granules 8 gm may be used preventively for patients at high risk of recurrent urinary tract infections.
• Post-Surgical UTI Prevention: Monurol Granules 8 gm is used for post-surgical UTI prevention in patients undergoing certain procedures.

• Monurol Granules 8 gm includes Fosfomycin, a broad-spectrum antibiotic that kills gram-negative and gram-positive bacteria that grow aerobically (in the presence of oxygen) and anaerobically (in the absence of oxygen).
