How to Prepare Aptamil Stage 1 Powder:

  1. Wash and Sterilise: Wash your hands thoroughly. Sterilise the feeding bowl, spoon, and bottle by boiling them in water for 10 minutes.
  2. Boil Water: Boil fresh drinking water for 5 minutes and allow it to cool until it becomes lukewarm (approx. 40°C).
  3. Measure Water: Pour the exact amount of lukewarm water into the sterilised feeding bowl or bottle as per the feeding table.
  4. Add Powder: Use only the scoop provided in the pack. Level off the powder using the built-in leveller. Add the exact number of scoops corresponding to the water volume.
  5. Mix Thoroughly: Shake the bottle or stir the bowl gently until the infant milk powder dissolves completely.
  6. Test Temperature: Check the formula's temperature on the inside of your wrist before feeding. It should feel lukewarm, not hot.

 

Pro Tip: Always prepare fresh formula for every feed. Discard any leftover milk after 1 hour to prevent bacterial growth.

 

Standard Feeding Table (Consult your paediatrician for exact needs):

  • 0–2 Weeks: 90ml water + 3 scoops (6 feeds/day)
