Follow these steps for hygienic and secure application:
1. Preparation: Wash your hands thoroughly before handling a fresh diaper.
2. Positioning: Have your toddler stand or lie down. Identify the front of the diaper (the side without the disposal tape).
3. Wearing: Slide your baby’s legs through the leg holes one at a time. Pull the diaper pants steadily up to the baby's waist, just like standard underwear.
4. Adjusting: Run your fingers around the elastic waistband and leg cuffs to ensure they are flared outward, not tucked inward. This prevents leakage and skin chafing.
5. Removal: When it is time for a change, do not pull the soiled diaper down. Instead, tear both sides of the elastic waistband along the seams and gently slide the diaper out from between the baby's legs.
6. Disposal: Roll the soiled diaper tightly from the front to the back. Peel the disposal tape located on the back of the diaper and wrap it securely around the rolled diaper. Dispose of in a covered sanitary bin. Do not flush.
