Alphacept-D 4 Capsule 10's

Alphacept-D4mg Capsule is used to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults. The prostate is a small, muscular gland in the male reproductive system. Benign prostatic hyperplasia is a common condition that occurs when the cells of the prostate gland begin to multiply.

Alphacept-D4mg Capsule is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride. This medicine works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors, causing smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate. Dutasteride blocks the action of a 5-alpha reductase enzyme, resulting in a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.

In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as dizziness, headache, nasal congestion (stuffy nose), and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Take Alphacept-D4mg Capsule as advised. Your physician will decide the dosage based on your medical condition. You can take Alphacept-D4mg Capsule with or without food. It is advised not to take more than the recommended dose of Alphacept-D4mg Capsule . Do not chew, crush, or break the medicine. It is crucial to have your lipid profile checked regularly.

Inform your physician if you are allergic to Alphacept-D4mg Capsule . Avoid consumption of alcohol as it may increase the side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure. If you take Alphacept-D4mg Capsule with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So, avoid intake of Alphacept-D4mg Capsule with antihypertensive drugs. Alphacept-D4mg Capsule is not recommended for use in female population and children.

Alphacept-D4mg Capsule is used in the treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) in men. The detailed uses of Alphacept-D4mg Capsule are as follows:

• Treatment of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH): Alphacept-D4mg Capsule helps reduce prostate size by blocking the production of hormones responsible for its growth and also improves urinary flow and reduces symptoms like difficulty urinating, frequent urges, and weak urine stream.
• Relaxation of Bladder and Prostate Muscles: Alphacept-D4mg Capsule works by relaxing the muscles in the bladder and prostate, making urination easier and helping relieve urinary discomfort associated with an enlarged prostate.
• Prevention of Urinary Blockage: Alphacept-D4mg Capsule reduces the risk of complete urinary obstruction, which can occur if BPH is left untreated and helps maintain normal urinary function over time.

• Alphacept-D4mg Capsule can be taken with or without food, as advised by your doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication.
• Swallow Alphacept-D4mg Capsule as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, chew, or open it.

• Alphacept-D4mg Capsule is a combination of Silodosin and Dutasteride used to treat the symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in adults with an enlarged prostate gland.
• Alphacept-D4mg Capsule causes smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate, and also causes a shrinkage of the size of the prostate gland.
• It helps to relieve symptoms such as difficulty urinating or the urge to urinate more often and improve your ability to urinate. 

• Do not take Alphacept-D4mg Capsule if you are allergic to Alphacept-D4mg Capsule or any other components present in it. To treat your condition effectively, continue taking Alphacept-D4mg Capsule for as long as your doctor has prescribed it. Try not to stop taking it on your own.
• If you take Alphacept-D4mg Capsule with any antihypertensive medicine, your blood pressure could suddenly drop to a life-threatening level. So, avoid intake of Alphacept-D4mg Capsule with antihypertensive drugs.
• Inform your doctor if you have/had a heart attack or stroke or heart failure, low blood pressure, kidney or liver disease, have certain eye diseases, loss of vision due to loss of blood flow to the optic (eye) nerve before taking Alphacept-D4mg Capsule .
• You are advised not to drive or operate heavy machinery after taking Alphacept-D4mg Capsule as it may cause dizziness.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Alphacept-D4mg Capsule as it could lead to increased dizziness and drowsiness.
• Older patients may be more sensitive to the side effects of Alphacept-D4mg Capsule , especially dizziness and low blood pressure when getting up from a sitting or lying position. 
• Alphacept-D4mg Capsule is intended for male patients only. Therefore, it should not be administered to women and children under 18 years of age.
