• Shake the bottle well and remove the protective shield from the tip. Lie down on your left side, raise your right knee to the chest, or kneel and lean forward so that the head and chest are resting comfortably. Insert the enema bottle into the rectum with the tip pointing towards the navel. Squeeze the bottle gently until it is empty, and then remove it from the rectum.
• Wash your hands before and after applying the medicament. Make sure that the rectal area is clean and dry before application.

• Maintain a low-fat diet and eat foods rich in vitamin C, such as bell peppers, spinach, parsley and berries, which help in healing faster.
