About Folci-D3 Tablet

Folci-D3 Tablet is used in the treatment of nutritional deficiencies. A nutritional deficiency occurs when the body does not absorb or get enough nutrients from food. This condition occurs when a person's nutrient intake is less than the body's recommended requirement. It can lead to various health problems like a weak immune system, skin problems, digestion problems, defective bone growth, and neurological diseases.

Folci-D3 Tablet contains Alpha-lipoic acid, folic acid, mecobalamin, pyridoxine, and vitamin D3. Alpha-lipoic acid is an antioxidant that prevents cell damage and restores vitamin levels in the body. Pyridoxine is involved in protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism and the formation of red blood cells and neurotransmitters. Mecobalamin regulates body functions, such as cell multiplication, blood formation, and protein synthesis. Folic acid helps in the production of red blood cells. Vitamin D3 helps in the absorption of calcium.

You are advised to take Folci-D3 Tablet for as long as your doctor has recommended it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, headache and vomiting. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. What if I have taken an overdose of Folci-D3 Tablet

Do not take more than the suggested dose of Folci-D3 Tablet as it may cause overdose. If you suspect you have taken overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

Drug Warnings

Inform your doctor if you are allergic to any of the components of Folci-D3 Tablet . Notify your doctor if you have malabsorption syndrome (difficulty absorbing nutrition from food). Pregnant or breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before taking Folci-D3 Tablet . Excessive alcohol consumption reduces absorption and increases the elimination of folic acid. Hence, please avoid alcohol while using Folci-D3 Tablet .

  • Try Vitamin B complex food sources like milk, cheese, eggs, liver, kidney, chicken, red meat, tuna, mackerel, salmon, shellfish, oysters, clams, dark green vegetables such as spinach and kale, beets, avocados, potatoes, whole grains, cereals, kidney beans, black beans, and chickpea.

  • Try folate-rich food sources like broccoli, Brussels sprouts, leafy green vegetables, cabbage, kale, spring greens, spinach, peas, chickpeas, kidney beans, and breakfast cereals fortified with folic acid.

  • Include the best dietary sources of vitamin D, such as fish liver oils and vitamin D–fortified milk.

  • Include dairy products like milk, yoghurt, cheese, or milk-based custard in your diet.

  • Include fruits like citrus, banana, and watermelon in your diet.

  • Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption.

  • Exercise regularly and maintain a healthy lifestyle. Avoid excess fatty foods.
