About Magins Tablet
Magins Tablet is used to treat acute hypomagnesaemia, a condition characterised by abnormally low magnesium levels in the blood. It may also be used for rapid emptying of the bowel before surgery and as a laxative to treat occasional constipation.
Magins Tablet contains Magnesium oxide, which is involved in various body processes such as hormone receptor binding, muscular contraction, neuronal activity, neurotransmitter release, and vasomotor tone.
Common side effects of Magins Tablet include diarrhoea and cramps. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if these side effects persist for an extended period, please seek medical advice.

Taking Magins Tablet with Eltrombopag together is not recommended as it can result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, if you notice any body aches or pain, chills, cough, difficulty in breathing, fever, headache, or loss of voice you should contact a doctor immediately. Do not stop using any medications without talking to a doctor.
Coadministration of Magins Tablet with Gefitinib impairs absorption and increases the Gefitinib levels in the body. This may increase the risk or severity of side effects.

Taking Magins Tablet with Gefitinib together can result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, if you notice any Blistering, peeling or loosening of the skin, bloody, black, or tarry stools, eye redness or pain, heartburn, indigestion, joint or muscle pain, or abdomen pain you should contact a doctor immediately. Do not stop using any medications without talking to a doctor.
Taking dolutegravir with Magins Tablet can reduce the effectiveness of dolutegravir.
How to manage the interaction:
Taking Magins Tablet with Dolutegravir together can result in an interaction, it can be taken if your doctor has advised it. However, take dolutegravir at least two hours before or six hours after the Magins Tablet dose. Do not stop using any medications without talking to a doctor.
