Magmaxx Tablet is used to treat acute hypomagnesaemia, a condition characterised by abnormally low magnesium levels in the blood. It may also be used for rapid emptying of the bowel before surgery and as a laxative to treat occasional constipation.
Magmaxx Tablet contains Magnesium oxide, which is involved in various body processes such as hormone receptor binding, muscular contraction, neuronal activity, neurotransmitter release, and vasomotor tone.
Common side effects of Magmaxx Tablet include diarrhoea and cramps. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, if these side effects persist for an extended period, please seek medical advice.
