Esogress-D Capsule is used to treat Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and Stomach ulcers. The detailed uses of Esogress-D Capsule are as follows:

• Gastric reflux disease (GERD): By lowering stomach acid, Esogress-D Capsule helps control GERD symptoms such as acid reflux, regurgitation, and heartburn.
• Ulcer Treatment: Esogress-D Capsule promotes healing and inhibits recurrence by treating duodenal and stomach ulcers.
• Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: By lowering the production of excessive stomach acid, Esogress-D Capsule helps to control symptoms and avoid problems.
• Management of Erosive Esophagitis: Esogress-D Capsule heals oesophagal damage brought on by acid reflux by treating erosive esophagitis.
• Relief from nausea and vomiting: Esogress-D Capsule offers immediate relief by blocking certain substances in the body that cause nausea and vomiting.

• Take Esogress-D Capsule an hour before your meal, ideally in the morning or as advised by a doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Esogress-D Capsule is effective in healing erosive esophagitis (inflammation of the food pipe), heartburn, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, duodenal ulcers, gastric ulcers, and Crohn’s disease-associated ulcers.
• Esogress-D Capsule works by irreversibly blocking the proton pump gate, which secretes stomach acid. It can be prescribed to all age groups, including special populations like the elderly, pregnant, lactating mothers, and patients with kidney and liver disease.
• Esogress-D Capsule helps manage acidity-related conditions, promotes digestion, and provides relief from associated discomfort.

• Avoid taking Esogress-D Capsule if you are allergic to Esogress-D Capsule or have any history of gastric cancer, liver disease, low magnesium levels, or low vitamin B1.
• Inform your doctor before taking Esogress-D Capsule if you have severe kidney, heart or liver disease, or if you are due to have Chromogranin A blood test; if you have fungal infections, heart problems or HIV infection.
• Talk to your doctor if you experience weight loss, problems with swallowing, stomach pain, indigestion, vomit food or blood, or if you pass black stools while taking Esogress-D Capsule .
• On long-term treatment, Esogress-D Capsule may cause low magnesium levels, vitamin B12 levels, and might increase the risk of bone fractures; the doctor may advise regular tests for monitoring your condition.
• Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Esogress-D Capsule may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert.
• Avoid caffeine-containing beverages (coffee, tea), spicy/deep-fried/processed foods, carbonated drinks, and acidic foods like citrus fruits/vegetables (tomatoes).
• Esogress-D Capsule should not be given to children as safety has not been established.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Esogress-D Capsule as it could lead to increased drowsiness and can elevate the production of stomach acid.
• A prolonged intake of Esogress-D Capsule is linked with a greater risk of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhoea, so if you develop diarrhoea that does not improve, immediately consult a doctor. 

• Eat smaller meals more often.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
• Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercising.
• Avoid lying down after eating as it causes acid reflux.
• Avoid tight-fitting clothes as it might increase the pressure on the abdomen leading to acid reflux.
• Practise relaxation techniques and avoid stress by doing yoga or meditation.
• Avoid foods such as high-fat food, spicy food, chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomato, onion, garlic, tea and soda. 
• Avoid sitting continuously as it may trigger acidity. Take a break of 5minutes every hour by doing brisk walking or stretching.
