My baby is 2 months and 12 days old and is completely dependent on formula feeding. We are currently giving him Nestle NAN Pro, but he has recently been experiencing gas. Please suggest appropriate foods or formulas to ensure complete nutrition.

At this age, continuing a standard infant formula like Nestle NAN Pro is usually appropriate for complete nutrition. To reduce gas, feed smaller amounts more frequently, use proper bottle techniques, and burp the baby regularly. Do not change foods or formulas on your own. Only switch to a specialised or comfort formula if advised by your paediatirican.

Directions for Use

  1. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. Boil the feeding bowl/bottle, nipple, and ring for 5 minutes to ensure they are completely sterilized.
  2. Boil fresh drinking water for 5 minutes, then allow it to cool until lukewarm (approx. 40°C).
  3. Pour the exact amount of lukewarm water into the sterilized feeding bottle according to the feeding table.
  4. Use only the scoop provided in the box. Level the powder using the leveling edge of the container. Do not heap.
  5. Cap the bottle and shake vigorously (or stir if using a bowl) until the powder is fully dissolved.

 

Feeding Table (General Guidelines):

  • 1st & 2nd week: 90ml water + 3 level scoops (6 feeds per day)
  • 3rd & 4th week: 120ml water + 4 level scoops (5 feeds per day)
  • 2nd month: 150ml water + 5 level scoops (5 feeds per day)
  • 3rd to 6th month: 180ml to 210ml water + 6 to 7 level scoops (4 to 5 feeds per day)


Pro Tip: Always prepare only one feed at a time. Discard any leftover prepared formula after feeding to prevent bacterial contamination.
