ACCUZON INJECTION 1GM . is used to treat infections in different parts of the body caused by bacteria. . is also used to prevent infections before, during and after surgery.
Side Effects :
• pain, tenderness, hardness, or warmth in the place where ceftriaxone was injected • pale skin, weakness, or shortness of breath when exercising • diarrhoea SERIOUS SIDE-EFFECTS: • rash • bloody, or watery stools, stomach cramps, or fever during treatment or for up to two or more months after stopping treatment • stomach tenderness, pain or bloating • nausea and vomiting • heartburn • chest pain • severe pain in the side and back below the ribs • painful urination • decreased urination • urinating more often than usual • pink, brown, red, cloudy, or bad smelling urine • swelling in legs and feet • a return of fever, sore throat, chills, or other signs of infection • peeling, blistering, or shedding skin • difficulty swallowing or breathing • swelling of the throat or tongue • seizures
ACCUZON INJECTION 1GM is to be injected intravenously (into a vein) and intramuscularly (into a muscle).
ACCUZON INJECTION 1GM work by killing the bacteria that are causing your infection or by stopping bacteria from growing.
Pregnancy: This drug should be used during pregnancy only if clearly needed and the benefit outweighs the risk. Alcohol: Unknown Driving: can cause dizziness so do not drive or use any tools or machines. Kidney: Tell your doctor if you or if you have or have ever had kidney disease. LIver: Tell your doctor if you or if you have or have ever had liver disease.

You must tell your doctor if: - you have or have ever had any medical conditions including: - bowel conditions, e.g. inflammation of the large bowel - diarrhoea associated with previous use of antibiotics - previous infection of your intestine with a bacteria . you have had an allergy or over-reaction to anaesthetic drugs
