My echocardiogram mentions
Dilated Ascending Aorta 47mm, Aortic root 39mm, LA Dilated, Concentric LVH, Mild PAH.
Are these age related or have any significance ?
Given, Concor AM 5 twice daily and Roseday A20. and suggested cardiology consultation after 3 months.
Feeling very tired after taking medications.
These findings are not simply age-related; they usually reflect long-standing cardiovascular strain, most often from blood pressure. They are clinically significant and require follow-up and monitoring. Your fatigue may be related to the medications, especially those that slow heart rate, but it’s important to review this with your cardiologist to see if any dose adjustment is needed. Continuing your scheduled cardiology follow-up is appropriate.
