I had ocular tuberculosis and completed AKT treatment for 6 months. The infection is now cured, but my vision is 10% in the right eye and 50% in the left eye. Can my vision improve, and what should I do?
Vision may improve slightly over time, but it depends on how much damage TB has caused to the eye structures. In many cases, vision loss from ocular TB can be partially permanent. You should follow up regularly with an eye specialist, continue prescribed eye care, and use visual aids or rehabilitation as recommended.
