I am suffering from chickenpox along with severe itching and poor appetite. What should I do regarding treatment, diet, and care for faster recovery?

Chickenpox usually improves on its own within 1-2 weeks, but severe itching and poor appetite can make recovery uncomfortable. The most important things are rest, hydration, skin care, and preventing scratching. Drink plenty of fluids such as water, coconut water, soups, lemon water, or fresh juices to prevent dehydration, especially if you are eating less. Eat light, soft, and easy-to-digest foods like khichdi, rice, dal, curd, fruits, soups, boiled vegetables, or porridge. If there are sores inside the mouth, avoid very spicy, oily, salty, or acidic foods because they can increase irritation. To reduce itching, keep your nails short and clean, wear loose cotton clothes, and avoid scratching the blisters, as scratching can lead to skin infection and permanent scars. Calamine lotion and lukewarm baths may help soothe the skin. If you have a fever or body pain, paracetamol may help if taken in the correct dose advised by a doctor. Avoid taking aspirin without medical advice. Try to rest well and avoid close contact with pregnant women, newborn babies, elderly people, or anyone with weak immunity until all the blisters have dried, because chickenpox spreads easily. Most people recover completely with proper care, but you should seek medical attention if you develop breathing difficulty, a high fever that does not improve, severe weakness, confusion, repeated vomiting, dehydration, chest pain, or if the skin lesions become very red, swollen, or filled with pus.
