I have gland TB and started AKT treatment 2 months ago. Yesterday, the infected area opened slightly and yellowish fluid started coming out. Why is this happening, and what should I do?
This can happen in gland TB when the infected lymph node softens and drains pus as part of the healing process. It does not mean the treatment is failing, but the area needs proper care to prevent infection. Continue your AKT medicines and consult your doctor, as you may need wound care, dressing, or further evaluation.
