Your kidney stones are small, and stones under 5 mm often pass naturally. You should drink plenty of water each day to help flush them out and take pain relievers such as paracetamol if needed. Your doctor may prescribe alpha-blockers to relax the ureter and make it easier for the stones to pass. In some cases, if a stone does not pass or causes complications, procedures like lithotripsy or surgical removal may be recommended.
