I have dyshidrotic eczema which has flared up recently after 4 years. I have been prescribed Allegra and Clop-g but the itching doesn't stop. What should I do?
If your dyshidrotic eczema has flared despite Allegra and Clop‑G, make sure you're using them as prescribed, as steroid creams can take a few days to work. Apply thick, fragrance-free moisturisers often, avoid irritants like soaps and detergents, and manage triggers such as stress or heat. Cold compresses can help soothe itching. If symptoms persist, consult your dermatologist again; they may reassess your condition and, if necessary, modify the current treatment or change the plan accordingly.
