Sensitive skin or a skin allergy known as dermatographia may be the cause of red marks that form after light touching, as well as responses to perfumes or deodorants. Use moderate fragrance-free skin care products instead of perfumes, deodorants, harsh soaps, and other things that cause the reaction. Keeping the skin hydrated and dressing in loose cotton clothing may also be beneficial.
