Since I have been taking the blood pressure medication AMLOKIND AT for five years and my recent blood test shows my total cholesterol is high at 252 (with triglycerides at 114 and HDL "good" cholesterol at 71.2), do I need to start taking a cholesterol-lowering statin drug, or can I lower my cholesterol back to a normal range through lifestyle changes like diet and exercise?
