Ancool-SF Suspension is primarily used for the treatment of stomach and intestinal ulcers. It works by forming a protective coating over ulcerated areas, shielding them from gastric acid and helping promote healing. However, it is ineffective against H. pylori infection. If H. pylori infection is suspected or confirmed, doctor-prescribed antibiotic therapy is required for eradication. Ancool-SF may be used as a supportive medicine alongside antibiotics, but it should not be used as a standalone treatment for H. pylori.
