Anovate Cream should be used as directed by your doctor or as per the instructions on the product label. Before applying the cream, wash your hands and gently clean the anal area with warm water. Pat the area dry without rubbing. For external haemorrhoids (piles) or anal fissures, apply a small amount of cream as a thin layer around the affected area using a clean fingertip. If the cream is prescribed for internal haemorrhoids, attach the applicator nozzle to the tube. Apply a small amount of lubricant to the nozzle if required, then gently insert it a short distance into the rectum. Squeeze the tube lightly to release a small amount of cream. Do not force the nozzle inside. Anovate Cream is commonly applied 2 to 3 times a day, particularly after passing stools and at bedtime, or as prescribed by your doctor. Wash your hands after applying the cream.
