Eating smaller meals, avoiding late-night food, reducing spicy or oily items, and staying well hydrated can help improve symptoms over time. Stress management and warm fluids may also give relief. However, you should revisit a doctor if you develop real difficulty swallowing food, unexplained weight loss, persistent pain, voice changes, or worsening symptoms, as these need further evaluation.
