Atorsave (atorvastatin) and Deplatt (clopidogrel) generally do not significantly reduce platelet count in most people. Atorsave is used to lower cholesterol and usually does not affect platelets. Deplett reduces the stickiness of platelets to prevent clots, but it does not normally decrease the number of platelets. However, in rare cases, some people may develop a low platelet count or increased bleeding tendency with these medicines.
