I have high IOP and I'm using Ganfort and Azopt. NCT shows IOP of 12/13, but GAT method shows 20. What should I do?
Non-contact tonometry (NCT) can underestimate eye pressure, while Goldmann applanation tonometry (GAT) is more accurate and used for treatment decisions. A GAT reading of 20 indicates that your eye pressure is still borderline high, so you should discuss these results with your eye doctor to see if further tests or adjustment of your medicines are needed.
