  5. I have slightly high vitamin D as I used to take vitamin D capsule weekly 2 years ago. Now I stopped but I continue to take becosule daily 1 tablet. Is this ok? I'm told that I can take becosule daily as vitamin B is water soluble so it won't cause an issue. I m worried about stopping becosule tablet because my hair had started premature greying and stopped when I started taking becosule. This was many years ago. So if I stop I don't want greying to start again for additional hairs. Pls advise.

Taking Becosule daily is usually considered safe at the recommended dose, but long-term use without medical advice is not always necessary if your diet already provides enough vitamins. There is no strong scientific proof that Becosule can stop or reverse premature hair greying, though vitamin deficiencies may sometimes play a role. Since you had slightly high vitamin D levels in the past and are concerned about hair greying, it’s best to consult your doctor. They can check your vitamin levels and guide you on whether you truly need to continue Becosule or if dietary adjustments are enough.

Here's some information about your vitamin D levels and taking Becosule daily.

  • Understanding Vitamin D Levels and Becosule:

    • Vitamin D is fat-soluble, so it can be stored in the body for some time after supplementation. Slightly high levels from taking vitamin D capsules weekly two years ago are unlikely to directly affect current vitamin B supplementation.
    • Becosule is a combination of B vitamins (such as B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, B12) and vitamin C, which are water-soluble. This means excess amounts are usually excreted in urine rather than stored in the body.
  • Safety of Daily Becosule Intake:

    • Daily intake of B vitamins through Becosule is generally considered safe because these vitamins are water-soluble.
    • However, some side effects like nausea, loose stools, or allergic reactions can occur, though they are uncommon.
    • Prolonged use should be discussed with a doctor to ensure it fits your individual health needs and to avoid unnecessary supplementation.
  • Relationship Between Becosule and Hair Greying:

    • B vitamins, especially biotin and vitamin B12, support hair and nerve health, but premature greying can result from various factors including genetics, stress, and nutritional deficiencies.
    • Stopping Becosule may or may not influence hair greying, as it depends on the underlying cause.
  • Recommendations and Next Steps:

    • If you are concerned about your vitamin D levels, consider having them checked again.
    • Focus on a balanced diet rich in natural sources of vitamins.
    • For personalized advice on supplementation and hair health, please consult a specialist doctor such as a dermatologist or a nutritionist.

Always consult a doctor before starting or continuing any supplement regimen to ensure it is safe and appropriate for your health status.
