A month and a half of your medication regimen?which includes rifampicin, isoniazid, ethambutol, and pyrazinamide?is often not enough time to see a visible reduction in size. Sometimes, the nodes can even temporarily enlarge before they shrink. Surgery is rarely necessary and is generally not recommended at this stage. I highly encourage you to continue taking your prescribed medications consistently and discuss your progress with your doctor, who can monitor your healing safely.
