You may use an antibiotic ointment, such as mupirocin or fusidic acid, to help prevent infection and promote faster healing. Clean the wound daily, keep it dry, and cover it with a clean dressing. If you notice pus, increasing pain, swelling, or fever, please consult your doctor.
