I am currently taking Sodium Valproate 1.5 g, Levetiracetam 1.5 g, and Clobazam 1 mg, but I still experience seizures almost every week. My MRI and EEG reports are normal, and my neurologist keeps increasing the medication doses during each visit. Are there any effective Ayurvedic treatments available for seizures if my current medications are not working?
Since your seizures are not responding to the current medications, it is important to consult your neurologist or an epilepsy specialist to reassess the diagnosis and treatment plan rather than switching to alternative therapies. There is no strong scientific evidence that Ayurvedic treatment can replace standard antiepileptic drugs, and abruptly stopping or switching them can worsen seizure control and increase the risk of serious complications. If desired, Ayurvedic therapy should be used only as supportive or adjunct care under the guidance of a qualified Ayurvedic physician, while continuing standard medical treatment.
