Rest well, drink plenty of water, eat light and easily digestible meals, and take your medications as prescribed. Use cool compresses or lukewarm sponge baths to reduce fever, wear loose clothing to avoid irritation, and apply calamine lotion if the rashes are itchy. Avoid strenuous activity and monitor your rashes and temperature. If your symptoms worsen or if you develop difficulty breathing or spreading rashes, contact your doctor immediately.
