I have eyelid swelling with dryness and skin color change near my eyelashes and was told it is blepharitis. I was advised warm compress and given chlorocol h ointment. Can this condition be treated completely and can it affect my vision? Also, can I use chlorocol instead of chlorocol h?
Blepharitis is a long-term eyelid condition that can be controlled well with regular care, though it may come and go. Warm compress and lid hygiene are the main steps to reduce swelling and dryness. It usually does not affect vision directly, but irritation can cause discomfort if not managed. Chlorocol H is given for specific reasons, so do not switch to another ointment on your own. Consult your doctor before making any changes to your treatment.
