I have a hole in a lower tooth causing severe pain for the last few days. I'm using Sensodyne, but it's not helping. I've been taking Cifran CT and Zerodol P but still have pain. What should I do?
A hole in the tooth causing severe pain usually means there is tooth decay or infection that needs a dentist's attention. Sensodyne, Cifran CT, and Zerodol P may help temporarily with sensitivity or pain, but they won't fix the underlying problem. Please see a dentist for proper treatment. Meanwhile, you can rinse with warm salt water and avoid very hot, cold, or sugary foods to reduce discomfort.
