Clamp Kid Forte is an antibiotic combination prescribed by your doctor after evaluating your child’s age, weight, and medical needs. When given exactly as directed, it is generally safe, but it should never be used without medical supervision, as the dose and duration must be tailored to each child. Do not adjust or stop the medicine on your own. If your child develops any unusual symptoms, such as a rash, diarrhoea, or stomach upset, contact the doctor immediately.

Since your child?s cough continues despite the current medications, you should consult a paediatrician promptly. The doctor can determine the underlying cause and provide treatment to stop the cough and prevent vomiting. Meanwhile, ensure your child gets plenty of rest and stays well hydrated.

It is not safe to give an antibiotic like Clamp-Kid Forte Suspension (Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid) to your child without a doctor confirming that a bacterial infection is causing the cough. This medicine is only effective against bacterial infections, and unnecessary use may cause side effects or lead to antibiotic resistance.
