On my face, I have both pimples and pimple marks. What to do?
Pimples and pimple marks are frequent and often go away with regular treatment and good skin care. Avoid touching or squeezing pimples, wash your face twice a day with a mild face wash, and use sunscreen and non-oily moisturisers because sunshine can darken the marks. Creams that contain adapalene, benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, niacinamide, or azelaic acid may assist mild acne by reducing pimples and progressively lightening blemishes. Drink plenty of water, get enough sleep, and cut back on junk or oily meals if they aggravate your acne. See a dermatologist for more effective treatment if your pimples are painful, spreading, or leaving deep scars.
