I have a skin infection in my groin that was diagnosed as tinea, and I have used creams like econazole and clotrimazole, but it is not fully cured. What else can I try to get rid of it?
Tinea in the groin that is not clearing with creams alone may be due to incomplete treatment, repeated moisture, or resistance, so it keeps coming back. Keep the area clean and fully dry, wear loose cotton clothes, avoid tight or sweaty clothing, and do not stop treatment too early, even if it looks better. Sometimes stronger or longer treatment, or tablets along with creams, may be needed as advised by a doctor. Getting it checked again will help confirm the diagnosis and choose the right treatment to clear it fully.
