Chewing on an uncrowned tooth can definitely cause irritation, inflammation, or even tiny structural cracks that might not show on a normal X-ray. I highly recommend avoiding chewing on that side for now. Please do not rely long-term on Combiflam (ibuprofen/paracetamol) as it only masks the pain. Instead, visit your dentist to have the tooth evaluated before placing the final crown. They can check your bite and ensure the underlying tissue is fully healed.
